Former Parma general manager Enrico Fedele has ruled out the possibility of Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman joining Serie A rivals Napoli this summer.
The Nigerian international has been linked with several top European clubs, including Liverpool, PSG, and Arsenal. However, rumors of a potential move to Napoli have gained traction in recent weeks.
Reacting to the speculation, Fedele, during an interview with Area Napoli, firmly dismissed the possibility of such a transfer happening.

“Lookman to Napoli? No, there is no chance that this deal will go through. I don’t see why these rumours should be spread,” Fedele said on Tele A’s Fuorigioco program.
The football veteran, who has spent over fifty years in the sport, revealed that Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is focused on signing another target – Oumar Solet.
“I can tell you that Giovanni Manna is on the trail of another player: Solet. Trust me, he is really strong, very strong,” Fedele added.

Lookman has been a key player for Atalanta this season, and the club is reportedly unwilling to let him leave, especially to a direct Serie A rival.
With Napoli shifting their focus elsewhere, Lookman’s future remains uncertain, with Premier League and Ligue 1 giants still in the race for his signature.
