Barcelona manager Hansi Flick expects Atalanta to adapt despite missing their key attacker, Ademola Lookman, in their UEFA Champions League showdown at the Nou Camp.
Lookman, sidelined with a knee injury, has been a crucial figure for the Italian side, contributing four goals and two assists in six UCL appearances this season. However, Flick believes Atalanta’s system under Gian Piero Gasperini will remain intact.
“Losing an important player is never easy, but Gasperini knows his squad well,” Flick said in a pre-match press conference. “I don’t focus on individuals; I analyze the entire team. Their approach won’t change drastically, as their style is built over many games and training sessions.”
Atalanta faces a tough test against Barcelona in this matchday seven encounter, with both teams looking to secure a crucial result in the competition.
