Barcelona Open to €80m Raphinha Sale Amid Arsenal and Chelsea Interest

Barcelona are reportedly ready to cash in on Raphinha this summer if they receive an offer in the region of €80 million (£69.4m), amid contract negotiations that have hit a standstill.

The 28-year-old Brazilian has been one of Barca’s standout performers this season, contributing 25 goals and 15 assists across all competitions. Despite having two years left on his deal, talks over a renewal have stalled due to his representatives demanding a salary hike the club are unwilling to meet.

According to Catalunya Radio, sporting director Deco has floated the idea of selling Raphinha if a suitable offer arrives — particularly from a club that can meet the player’s wage expectations.

While Saudi Pro League clubs have shown interest, Raphinha is reportedly not considering a move to the Middle East until after the 2026 World Cup.

This development could open the door for a Premier League return, with both Arsenal and Chelsea long-time admirers of the winger. Back in 2022, Arsenal’s then-sporting director Edu made an approach, while Chelsea had a £55m deal agreed with Leeds — but Raphinha held out for his dream move to Camp Nou.

Now, with Barca potentially open to business, both clubs could reignite their pursuit, especially as they search for a versatile attacker to bolster their squads ahead of next season.
