Former Cameroon international Sébastien Siani is confident that the Indomitable Lions will lift the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Cameroon finds itself in a challenging Group F alongside Ivory Coast, Gabon, and Mozambique. However, Siani, a 2017 AFCON winner, remains optimistic about their chances.
In an interview with Cafonline, he acknowledged the difficulty of their group but highlighted Cameroon’s experience as a key advantage.
“It’s a tough group, but Cameroon knows how to navigate such challenges,” Siani said. “Maintaining focus and taking each game seriously will be crucial.”
He emphasized that international tournaments are unpredictable, with no easy opponents. However, he believes that if the team stays united and determined, they can triumph.
“Cameroon is a nation of competitors,” he added. “Even when we don’t make the most noise, we are still the Indomitable Lions.”
