Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are in negotiations with Sevilla to secure a loan deal for Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho, with an option to buy for £2m in the summer.
The 28-year-old joined the Spanish side on a free transfer last summer but has struggled to make an impact, failing to score in nine LaLiga appearances under Garcia Pimienta.
Sevilla are now open to offloading him this month, with several clubs in England and Europe also monitoring his situation.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, who previously worked with Iheanacho at Leicester City, is keen to reunite with the striker as he looks to bolster his attacking options for the second half of the season.
