UEFA has also given Chelsea the green light to hold their press conference and final training session back at Cobham, meaning they won’t need to acclimatize in Kazakhstan before the match.
Coach Enzo Maresca has hinted at making changes, managing his squad carefully for the quick turnaround ahead of Sunday’s match against Brentford.
“We have many young players, and some will stay behind while others will join us. We must balance the team for this long journey and the next match,” said Maresca.
