Chelsea are actively working to secure Verona midfielder Reda Belahyane as they prepare to sell Cesare Casadei.
The 22-year-old Casadei, who is likely to return to Serie A, has garnered interest from Lazio and Torino. However, Chelsea has set a €15m (£12.6m) asking price with a sell-on clause attached.
Reports from Sky Sports Italy reveal Chelsea have already identified Belahyane as Casadei’s replacement.
They are reportedly pushing to finalize a €15m (£12.6m) deal for the Moroccan international, who joined Verona last year for just €500,000 (£420,000).
Belahyane has impressed this season with 20 Serie A appearances and a single international cap for Morocco.
In addition, Chelsea are in discussions with Manchester United over a potential move for Alejandro Garnacho.
Napoli has also been in talks with United but failed to meet their €65m (£54.8m) valuation. Garnacho reportedly prefers staying in the Premier League, giving Chelsea a significant advantage in the race for his signature.
With these ambitious targets, Chelsea aim to strengthen their roster for upcoming challenges in the Premier League and beyond.
