The Blues have firmly shut down any approach for the 23-year-old defender, stating that he will not leave the club during the January transfer window.
Badiashile, who joined Chelsea from Monaco in January 2023 for £32 million, was once considered one of France’s most promising young talents. However, his time in west London has been challenging.
The French international has struggled to cement his place in the starting lineup, making just four starts across all competitions under new boss Enzo Maresca.
Despite his limited role, Chelsea remains committed to the centre-back, who is under contract until 2030.
Reports from French outlet RMC Sport reveal that Juventus and a Ligue 1 club have expressed interest in signing him, but Chelsea has “closed the door” on any potential transfer.
Speaking to the media last month, Badiashile voiced his determination to succeed at Chelsea despite his lack of game time. “Of course I want to stay.
Chelsea is a big club, and I know how difficult it is to succeed here. I will keep working hard and try to make the most of my opportunities,” he said.
The defender hopes to build on his recent momentum, having played a key role in Chelsea’s comeback victory over Tottenham last weekend.
He is expected to feature again in today’s match against Astana as he continues to fight for a more prominent role in the team.
