Chelsea’s Noni Madueke recently engaged in a social media exchange with a fan who criticized his performance after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

The fan, who waited two hours post-match to meet Madueke, later took to TikTok, describing Madueke as a “fraud” and calling for him to be benched.
Highlighting Madueke’s strong early season form, which included four goals in his first two matches, the fan questioned his impact since then, noting that he was “pocketed” by Noussair Mazraoui at Old Trafford.
In response, Madueke suggested the fan “speak up” next time he wanted a photo, fueling further back-and-forth on the platform.
Despite recent criticism, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has maintained faith in Madueke, although some fans are now pushing for the young winger to be replaced in the lineup.
With Chelsea’s upcoming matches, including a Europa Conference League game against Noah and a high-stakes derby against Arsenal, Maresca may have to decide whether to stick with the 22-year-old or test other options as Chelsea seeks consistency in both domestic and European competitions.
