Cole Palmer has expressed no concerns about his fitness after being left out of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League squad. The 22-year-old has been a standout performer this season, contributing six goals and five assists in the Premier League.
When asked about his fitness, Palmer stated, “Not really. The management’s decision was for the best, and I’m focused on keeping fit and ready for the next opportunities.”
Palmer, who signed a nine-year deal with Chelsea, also affirmed his commitment to the club: “Chelsea feels like home to me, and I’m excited about what we can achieve together.”
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca acknowledged Palmer’s absence, emphasizing the need to protect players: “Cole is something extra that you need, but there is a reason behind it, and I think Cole needs to be protected.”
