Tottenham Hotspur’s preparations for their upcoming match against Galatasaray have been complicated by injury concerns surrounding two key players.

Richarlison, who has struggled with injuries this season, is set for another spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury during Tottenham’s 4-1 victory over Aston Villa.
The Brazilian forward had just provided an assist to Dominic Solanke before being forced off the pitch. This setback is particularly frustrating for Richarlison, who has yet to start a Premier League match this season and had only made his fifth league appearance after recovering from an earlier injury.
He took to Instagram to express his disappointment, saying, “It’s a difficult moment, again. I was very happy working hard and playing, but now I am injured again.”
Meanwhile, Cristian Romero is dealing with a less severe issue, as he has sustained a toe injury ahead of the crucial trip to Galatasaray on Thursday. The Argentine defender has been called up for international duty, but reports suggest he will miss both the Galatasaray match and Sunday’s fixture against Ipswich.
Tottenham continues to assess the situation, but initial reports indicate that Romero will be sidelined for at least a week. Despite the injury, Spurs’ head coach, Ange Postecoglou, remains hopeful Romero will be available for the following weekend’s match.
Tottenham also faces the absence of Micky van de Ven, who is out with a hamstring injury, further complicating the team’s defensive options. Postecoglou has had to reshuffle the backline multiple times this season, and these new injuries leave him with limited options in defense ahead of a packed schedule.
