“At first, I thought, ‘What’s he on about?’ Then I checked my Instagram and realized he meant 100 Premier League games. It was a proud moment for me.”

There was always chatter about me—‘Is he good enough? He’s always injured.’ But I’m here because of Klopp and the belief he had in me.
“I’m not saying I’m a star now, but I’m doing the right things. I’m scoring goals, playing regularly, and helping the team with my quality. I’m grateful to him and his staff. It puts a smile on my face knowing he’s still there for us,” Jones added.
Reflecting on their recent exchange, Jones said, “I wished him a Merry Christmas, and he replied, saying he’s enjoying it. That’s who he is—always present, always supportive. He’s truly a great man.”
