The team, led by head coach Moses Aduku, flew from Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport to Casablanca, where they will compete in Group B.

Joining them in the group are defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa, Egypt’s FC Masar, and Ethiopia’s CBE FC.

Edo Queens are set to begin their campaign against CBE FC on Sunday, November 10, in Casablanca. The team aims to make a strong impression in their debut at the prestigious tournament.

This year’s competition opens on Saturday with a match between DR Congo’s TP Mazembe and University of the Western Cape from South Africa, and will run from November 9 to 23 across El Jadida and Casablanca.
