After a challenging ordeal of over thirteen hours stranded at a Libyan airport, the former Royal Antwerp player has safely returned to his club, Sevilla. As they prepare for their upcoming match at the Lluis Company’s Olympic Stadium on Sunday, Ejuke emphasized the team’s determination to secure a win.

“Yes, Barcelona is a great team with many top players, but we are Sevilla as well. We just want to go there, give our best, and hopefully come back with the win,” he said in an interview with El Chiringuito TV.

When asked about Barcelona’s position among the elite Spanish teams, Ejuke acknowledged their current success. “You could say that because they’re top of the table, but Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also strong. Barca are currently leading, so you could say that. As for Lamine Yamal, he’s a top player. What he’s doing at his age is impressive,” the 26-year-old concluded.

As it stands, Barcelona leads La Liga with 24 points from nine games, while Sevilla sits in 12th place with twelve points from the same number of matches.
