AC Milan are considering a managerial change, with former Arsenal and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas emerging as the leading candidate to replace Sergio Conceição. After two consecutive Serie A defeats to Torino and Bologna, Milan find themselves in eighth place, eight points behind the final Champions League spot.

Fabregas, currently managing Como, has gained significant recognition for his tactical approach and leadership. After guiding the team to Serie A last season, he has continued to impress in his first top-flight campaign, earning praise for his possession-based, dynamic style of play. His footballing philosophy aligns with Milan’s vision, making him an attractive option for the Rossoneri’s top brass.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), Fabregas is Milan’s preferred choice, but they are also considering alternatives. Maurizio Sarri, known for his experience in Serie A, and Roberto De Zerbi, who is also on Atalanta’s radar, are among the other names linked to the potential vacancy.

Milan’s management wants to act early to secure a coach who is already attracting interest from several European clubs. If Fabregas takes over, it could have significant implications for players like Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, whose role and future at Milan could evolve under new leadership.
