Since joining Galatasaray from Napoli in the summer, Osimhen has proven indispensable. The Nigerian international has tallied an impressive nine goals and three assists in just 11 appearances, solidifying his role as the team’s offensive powerhouse.
Currently leading the league, Galatasaray’s form has been bolstered by Osimhen’s contributions.
However, with European giants reportedly targeting the Super Eagles striker, fears are mounting over the potential impact of his departure.
Engin, speaking to Galatasaray Gazetesi, expressed his apprehension about the club’s future without Osimhen.
“If Osimhen leaves Galatasaray in January, the balance in the Championship race may be disrupted,” Engin remarked.
Should the January transfer materialize, Galatasaray could face significant challenges in maintaining their top position, as replacing Osimhen’s output mid-season would undoubtedly be a daunting task.
