In the 24-second clip, Guardiola, dressed in a dark grey suit and black tie, is seen walking through the streets of Manchester with his son Marius and another man.

As Guardiola passes by, a fan with a Scouse accent taunts him, saying, “Nah, mate, just because you lost.”

The clip then shows Guardiola turning around to confront the fan, attempting to approach him before being restrained by his son and the other man accompanying him. As he is escorted away, Guardiola angrily asks, “Do you know what is lost? Do you know what is lost? You want me to sign you?”

A third person holding a pen and book intervenes, trying to defuse the situation, with the taunting fan responding, “No, it’s fine.”

Revelation About the Incident’s Timing

Initially believed to have been filmed after City’s 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield last Sunday, it has since been revealed that the video was actually recorded after City’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May. Guardiola’s attire in the footage matches what he wore during the final at Wembley on May 25.

The incident follows a period of frustration for Guardiola and his team, as City has gone seven games without a win. During the loss to Liverpool, Guardiola was seen responding to taunts from the Anfield crowd by holding up six fingers, referencing the number of Premier League titles he has won.

Manchester City finally broke their winless run with a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, but they currently sit fourth in the Premier League, trailing leaders Liverpool by nine points. Guardiola’s side will next face Crystal Palace on Saturday.
