The two teammates clashed during United’s 2-1 Europa League win over Viktoria Plzen, with Hojlund visibly frustrated after Amad didn’t pass him the ball late in the game.
Their argument was clear after the final whistle. However, both players have since shown signs of reconciliation, with Amad sharing a handshake photo on Instagram and tagging Hojlund, who later reposted it.
Despite the tension, both are eager to feature in United’s Premier League clash on Sunday. Coach Ruben Amorim described the spat as a sign of passion, noting that it’s important for players to care enough to fight for success.
