Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho celebrated his first goals for Sevilla, scoring twice in their Copa del Rey victory over Las Rozas CF. The Nigerian striker, who joined the La Liga club on a free transfer from Leicester City in the summer, made a significant impact in the match.

Sevilla took the lead in the first half following an own goal by Luis Mendez. Iheanacho doubled the advantage at the hour mark, confidently finishing a well-worked move. Later, he added his second goal, further securing Sevilla’s dominance and ensuring their progression in the competition.

Reflecting on his milestone, Iheanacho expressed joy, saying, “I’m very happy to have scored my first goals for this club. It’s very good for my confidence and for the team, which hopefully will finish in the top six.”
