Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi played a part in Fulham’s FA Cup triumph over Wigan, coming on as a 75th-minute substitute for Martial Godo.
Fulham took the lead through Rodrigo Muniz’s header, but Wigan responded with a stunning strike from Jonny Smith early in the second half. The Premier League side eventually regained control, with Muniz netting his second to seal the win.

Wigan nearly forced extra time in stoppage time, but Darcy’s goal was ruled out for offside, ending their hopes of an upset. Despite making 10 changes to their squad, Fulham’s quality shone through as they booked their spot in the next round.
