George, a product of Chelsea’s academy since the Under-8 level, has had a breakthrough season with notable performances for the U21s and the senior team.
The young winger has already made appearances in the Carabao Cup and UEFA Conference League. Earlier this month, he achieved a significant milestone by starting in Chelsea’s commanding 8-0 victory over FC Noah at Stamford Bridge.
Sancho joined the celebrations on social media, praising George for his hard work and humility, calling him a “top guy” and expressing excitement about training with him.
George also reflected on his journey, recalling a photo with Sancho when he was just 11 years old. “It’s surreal to now share the pitch with him and the rest of the Chelsea squad,” he said, highlighting how his dedication has paid off since joining the club.
The teenager continues to inspire Chelsea fans as a beacon of talent and determination.
