Felix rejoined Chelsea permanently last summer in a £42 million deal from Atletico Madrid after a lackluster loan spell.

However, he has once again struggled to meet expectations, leading to intense speculation about his next move.

Aston Villa initially showed interest, with football operations chief Monchi confirming their monitoring of Felix’s situation.

However, Villa recently secured a loan deal for Marcus Rashford and are set to add PSG’s Marco Asensio, causing them to drop their pursuit of Felix.

Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Felix is eager for a fresh start in Milan, believing it could revive his struggling career. Mendes, who traveled from Turin to London, is now in talks with Chelsea over a loan deal.

However, negotiations face a major hurdle—Milan is reluctant to cover Felix’s full wages, while Chelsea insists on a loan with a purchase obligation or an outright sale.

Felix has found limited opportunities under Enzo Maresca, making only three league starts and contributing a single goal and assist.

However, he has impressed in cup competitions, scoring four goals in five Europa Conference League appearances.

Maresca acknowledged Felix’s talent but cited Cole Palmer’s dominance in the attacking midfielder role as a key reason for his limited minutes.

Despite this, Maresca remained noncommittal about Felix’s departure, simply stating that squad balance dictated his selection choices.

As the deadline looms, all eyes are on Mendes to see if he can orchestrate Felix’s Milan switch or if the Portuguese playmaker will remain at Stamford Bridge.
