Kelechi Iheanacho has opened up about his difficult start to life at Sevilla, admitting that he has struggled to find his rhythm since joining the LaLiga club on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old forward, who was seen as a key addition to bolster Sevilla’s attack, has found opportunities limited and has mostly come off the bench in league matches.
Despite his reputation as a versatile forward, Iheanacho’s impact has been minimal, with just two goals to his name so far, both coming in Copa del Rey fixtures. Reflecting on his challenges, the Nigerian international shared his thoughts on the demanding nature of professional football.
“When you are not at your best or at your peak, things feel very tough,” Iheanacho admitted. “In general, football is not simple. People often say it’s easy because of how it looks on the pitch, but there’s a lot of hard work involved in both training and matches.”
Iheanacho’s arrival at Sevilla was met with high expectations, but his form has yet to match the optimism surrounding his signing. While he remains a talented player capable of delivering crucial performances, his current struggles have raised questions about his adaptation to Sevilla’s playing style and the highly competitive nature of LaLiga.
The season is still young, and there’s hope that Iheanacho can rediscover his form and become a vital part of Sevilla’s campaign as they aim to climb the league standings and make an impression in cup competitions.
Iheanacho is not the only player struggling here, iwobi is also struggling both in club & country and some of our so called first team players. The earlier they pick form the better our chances of winning the 2022 afcon cos the midfield & attack lacks cohesion at the moment
