Leicester City endured a humiliating night at the King Power Stadium suffering a crushing 4-0 defeat to Brentford and setting an unwanted Premier League record.

According to OptaJoe, this marked Leicester’s sixth consecutive home loss without scoring the longest such streak in a single season in English top-flight history.

The Foxes’ dismal run sparked boos from the home crowd at full-time, with the club now losing ten of their last eleven matches.

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi started the match but was substituted in the 77th minute for Oliver Skipp.

Brentford dominated from the start, opening the scoring in the 17th minute through Yoane Wissa, whose shot bounced over goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.

Bryan Mbeumo doubled the lead in the 26th minute with a clinical finish, before Christian Nørgaard’s free header made it 3-0 just six minutes later.
