Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have extended their congratulations to Victor Boniface and the Super Eagles following their qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Eagles secured their place in the tournament even before their clash with Benin Republic, thanks to Libya’s 1-0 victory over Rwanda in Kigali.
The game against Benin Republic ended in a 1-1 draw. Mohamed Tijani gave the hosts the lead in the first half, but Victor Osimhen equalized with less than 10 minutes remaining. Victor Boniface also featured in the match, coming on as a substitute in the second half.
Leverkusen showed their support for their star player and the Nigerian team, posting on X, “Congratulations to @NGSuperEagles and @boniface_jrn on qualifying for #AFCON2025!”
The Super Eagles will return to action on Monday when they face Rwanda in their final qualifier.
