Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap has made it clear that he won’t let transfer rumors distract him as he continues his strong form in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old forward, who has netted nine goals in 23 appearances this season, has attracted interest from some of England’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Delap, son of former Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap, began his professional career at Manchester City before making a £20 million move to Ipswich. His performances have caught the eye of top clubs, but the striker remains committed to his current team’s fight against relegation.

“I’m so happy here. I’m enjoying it so much,” Delap told the East Anglian Daily Times. “I just take every game as it comes and focus on the next. I try to stay away from transfer talk, and the people around me encourage me to do the same.”
With Ipswich battling to stay in the Premier League, Delap insists his only priority is performing on the pitch, regardless of external noise.
