As Liverpool approach the January transfer window, the club has reportedly compiled a three-man shortlist for a left-back replacement for Andy Robertson.

Known for his speed and ability to support the attack, Robinson has also earned praise from former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant, who believes Robinson’s attributes align well with Liverpool’s style.
David Raum is another compelling option, currently under contract with Leipzig until 2027. A move for Raum may demand a substantial fee, reflecting his long-term commitment to the German club and the significant defensive and offensive contributions he brings to the field.
Raum’s consistency and experience at Leipzig could make him a valuable asset for Liverpool as they reinforce their defensive lineup.
Completing Liverpool’s shortlist is Leif Davis, a standout performer for Ipswich Town this season. The former Leeds United defender caught attention recently with a spectacular goal against Leicester City, highlighting his attacking instincts and adaptability in the Premier League.
Liverpool’s scouts have reportedly observed all three players, with coach Arne Slot expected to have a say in the final decision.
