Ademola Lookman delivered a standout performance as he scored two goals and provided two assists in Atalanta’s emphatic 6-1 victory over Verona in Saturday’s Serie A match.

The Super Eagles winger, making his sixth appearance of the season, has now tallied four goals in Serie A.
Atalanta wasted no time in asserting their dominance, scoring just six minutes into the match. Lookman set up the opening goal with a precise cutback to Marten de Roon, who found the back of the net from the edge of the box.
The home side quickly built on this momentum, doubling their lead in the ninth minute when Mateo Retegui capitalized on a loose ball, delivering a pinpoint finish.
The hosts continued their onslaught, netting a third goal in the 14th minute. Charles De Ketelaere showcased his skill, maneuvering on the right flank before curling a shot into the far corner.
Lookman was instrumental in extending Atalanta’s lead, scoring their fourth goal with a powerful drive into the box.
He then completed his remarkable first half by finishing off a swift team move with a simple tap-in, bringing his tally to two goals and two assists before the break.
Although Amin Sarr managed to score a consolation goal for Verona in the 42nd minute, Atalanta remained in control, adding a final goal through Retegui in the second half, securing an impressive 6-1 win.
