Louis Saha has called on Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford, insisting the midfielder could offer the experience and quality the club desperately needs amid a deepening injury crisis.
United have been forced to rely on untested youngsters after key players like Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, and Manuel Ugarte joined a growing injury list. With the likes of Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, and Mason Mount also sidelined, Amorim has been left scrambling for options.
Pogba, currently a free agent, saw his contract with Juventus terminated last year following a doping ban. His initial four-year suspension was later reduced to 18 months after the Court of Arbitration for Sport accepted his argument that he did not intentionally take a banned substance.
Rio Ferdinand recently suggested that Pogba should be invited to train with United, but Saha believes the club should take it even further.
