Injury Struggles and Fan Outrage

After briefly returning during Euro 2024, Shaw has spent much of the current season sidelined.

Since Ruben Amorim took over as manager, the England international has featured in only three matches, with his last appearance coming on December 1 against Everton.

As United grapples with a poor season, including a relegation battle by Amorim’s own admission, fans were furious to see their injured left-back enjoying a glitzy event instead of focusing on recovery.

Shaw and his wife were spotted with Hague at the party, and the viral TikTok video showed him participating in a trending sound clip, sparking a wave of disapproval.

Comparing Treatment of Players

The backlash highlighted discrepancies in fan reactions. While some supporters compared Shaw’s actions to Paul Pogba’s previous criticism for similar behavior, others questioned the lack of uniform outrage.

Fans expressed their frustrations on social media, calling out the club’s declining standards and inconsistent attitudes toward players’ off-field activities.
