Harry Maguire’s dramatic late header secured a 2-1 victory for Manchester United over Leicester City in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round at Old Trafford on Friday.
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi returned to Leicester’s starting XI after missing action since December due to a hamstring injury.

Leicester struck first just before halftime, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid finishing from close range. Boubakary Soumaré won possession and found Bilal El Khannouss, who set up Ndidi for a shot. United goalkeeper André Onana saved it, but De Cordova-Reid reacted quickest, nodding the rebound into the net.
United responded strongly after the break and nearly equalized, only for Caleb Okoli to make a crucial goal-line clearance.
Their persistence paid off in the 68th minute when Joshua Zirkzee leveled the score. Alejandro Garnacho beat his man on the left and delivered a cross, which deflected off a Leicester defender before Zirkzee finished into an empty net.

With time running out, Maguire delivered the decisive moment, rising highest to meet Bruno Fernandes’ set-piece and powering a header past the keeper. The goal sealed United’s passage to the FA Cup fifth round as they continue their title defense.
The fourth-round action continues across the weekend.
