Manchester United are reportedly considering a January move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, as the Premier League side looks to bolster their attacking options.

The Red Devils brought in Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna over the summer for £36.5 million, but the 22-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Kolo Muani, who joined PSG for €75 million (£64.2m) plus €15 million (£12.2m) in add-ons last year, has found himself on the fringes under manager Luis Enrique.
The 25-year-old French forward has started just two of PSG’s 15 matches across all competitions this season.
Despite his high-profile transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt, Kolo Muani has yet to cement a regular starting spot in Paris’ star-studded squad.
Speaking during the international break, Kolo Muani remained determined to fight for his place:
“You have to keep your mental strength up, it’s up to me to continue working so that the coach trusts me. I’ve never had things easy,” he told Telefoot.
“I have to work harder and make an impression when he calls on me.”
When asked if he had considered leaving PSG, the forward firmly denied it:
“No, I never tried to think about that. I have to continue to work, show what I can do, and give my all. If you give up, it’s over—you sink.”
According to Le10 Sport, Manchester United have already initiated talks to sign Kolo Muani in the upcoming transfer window. The club is reportedly exploring an initial loan deal for the remainder of the season, with the final decision hinging on whether Kolo Muani himself pushes for an exit.
United’s move for the Frenchman highlights their ongoing struggle to find consistency up front.
Despite their substantial summer spending, injuries and underwhelming performances have left manager Ruben Amorim searching for alternatives to revive United’s attacking threat.
Kolo Muani is highly regarded for his versatility and ability to create scoring opportunities. His standout performances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, where he tallied 15 goals and 14 assists in the Bundesliga, made him one of the hottest prospects in Europe.
However, his time at PSG has been less fruitful, and United could provide him with the platform to rediscover his best form.
If the deal goes through, Kolo Muani could bring much-needed firepower to Old Trafford. But with PSG unwilling to offload him without a push from the player, the situation remains fluid.
For now, United fans will be watching closely as January approaches, eager to see whether Kolo Muani could be the answer to their striker woes.
