Manchester United are not expected to make a move for Harry Kane, even after reports surfaced about a £54 million release clause in his Bayern Munich contract.
The England captain has been in stellar form since his transfer from Tottenham in August 2023, netting 36 Bundesliga goals last season.
This campaign, he has already scored 21 times in 19 matches, positioning Bayern for another league title.
Although Kane’s contract includes a release clause that becomes active in January 2026, United are unlikely to reignite their previous interest.

The club, now led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is prioritizing youth development and financial sustainability over high-wage veteran signings. Kane, who turns 32 in July, does not fit that profile.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Kane has no plans to leave Bayern, with the club firmly committed to keeping him beyond this season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal legend Paul Merson has urged the Gunners to consider signing Kane, arguing he would be a game-changer in their hunt for a top striker.
Kane himself has downplayed the speculation, stating he is “very happy” at Bayern and declining to comment on the release clause.
