After a high-profile €80 million (£66.5m) transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, the 26-year-old has struggled to establish himself under PSG manager Luis Enrique, seeing limited playing time.

Tied to PSG until 2028, Kolo Muani’s lack of opportunities has sparked speculation of a January move. Clubs across Europe, including Arsenal and Chelsea, have shown interest in the French international, but reports from The Athletic’s David Ornstein suggest that United, Spurs, and Juventus have emerged as the top contenders for a loan agreement. The proposed move aims to benefit all parties, with PSG hopeful that consistent game time elsewhere will help Kolo Muani regain confidence.

His path to Enrique’s starting XI is currently blocked by players like Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, and Desire Doue.

Both United and Spurs are actively pursuing a loan deal, with Kolo Muani’s representatives well aware of the interest.

Despite being limited to just two starts in Ligue 1 this season—scoring twice and registering one assist—he remains a regular fixture in Didier Deschamps’ France squad, featuring in the 2022 World Cup and last year’s European Championship.

In November, Kolo Muani expressed his frustration with his lack of playing time, vowing to fight for his spot at PSG. Speaking to Telefoot, he said, “You have to keep your mental strength up. I’ve always worked hard and never had things easy. It’s up to me to make an impression when called upon.”

When asked about the possibility of leaving PSG, Kolo Muani dismissed the idea, stating his focus remains on proving himself. “I have to continue to work, show what I can do, and give my all. If you give up, it’s over—you sink.”

As speculation grows, the question remains: Which club is the best fit for Kolo Muani’s resurgence?
