Paul Scholes has criticized Manchester United’s new ownership, accusing them of failing to bring any positive changes since taking over. And also Paul Scholes questioned Manchester united for not Bringing in Good Signings

His comments come amid widespread backlash over the club’s controversial decision to increase matchday ticket prices to £66 per game, with no discounts for children or pensioners.

Fans have called the move exploitative, with supporters’ group 1958 staging protests outside Old Trafford before the Everton match in early December.

Scholes, speaking on Sky Bet’s The Overlap, expressed his disappointment, claiming the INEOS Group has worsened the situation since their £1.25bn deal for a 27.7% stake in the club.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who finalized the deal last February, has faced criticism for off-field controversies and the team’s poor performance, with United languishing at 13th in the Premier League.

Hopes for progress faded quickly, especially after former manager Erik ten Hag was sacked just months after receiving a new contract.

“Nearly a year in, and everything’s still negative,” Scholes said. “They’ve done nothing positive for the club. On the pitch, things are worse, and off it, raising ticket prices to £66 is ridiculous. How can they justify this during our worst Premier League season?”

Scholes highlighted the financial burden on fans, particularly those from Manchester’s deprived areas, noting the cost for families could exceed £300.

He also criticized Ratcliffe, a Manchester native, for ignoring the local community’s struggles, stating, “It shows they don’t care.”

Despite their dismal season, United managed to deliver an improved performance last weekend, securing a spirited 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. However, for many fans, the dissatisfaction with the new ownership remains unshaken.
