Manchester United have finalized their stance on six players deemed “unsellable” ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, as new manager Ruben Amorim prepares for his first foray into player signings and departures at Old Trafford.

According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, goalkeeper André Onana is among the six players United have ruled out for transfer.
Joining him on the untouchable list are Kobbie Mainoo, Noussair Mazraoui, Amad Diallo, Matthijs de Ligt, and Leny Yoro.
The decision reflects Amorim’s vision for United’s future. Mainoo, a 19-year-old England international, is considered one of Europe’s brightest prospects.
Mazraoui, De Ligt, and Yoro were summer signings, making their inclusion in the club’s long-term plans unsurprising.
Diallo’s stellar performances under Amorim have further cemented his place in the squad. The 21-year-old winger has provided four assists in his last four Premier League matches, drawing praise from his manager.
“He is really big in talent, but small in size!” Amorim quipped after Diallo’s impressive display in a 4-0 victory over Everton.
Mazraoui, too, has received glowing reviews, with Amorim labeling the Moroccan international defender as the “future” of Manchester United.
“He’s a top player who understands the game, attacks well, and defends excellently. Nous is a modern player who controls the tempo and is very comfortable on the ball. We need more players like him,” Amorim told reporters.
The commitment to these players underscores United’s intent to build a cohesive and dynamic squad under Amorim’s leadership.
With the January window approaching, the focus will likely shift to bolstering other areas while maintaining the core that Amorim considers essential for success.
