Manchester United are reportedly preparing an offer to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, proposing a deal that includes £33 million alongside striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in sensational form this season, netting 20 goals and leading his team to the top of the Turkish Super Lig. Despite initially pushing for a move to a top club in England or Spain, the Nigerian forward ended up in Turkey after no major European deal materialized.
With his Napoli contract expiring in 2026, the Serie A club is expected to cash in this summer, with multiple Premier League clubs—including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United—keeping close tabs on him.

According to CalcioMercato, United have already devised a plan to offer Napoli £33m plus Hojlund, hoping to secure Osimhen’s services.
Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for £64m in 2023, had a promising debut season with 16 goals across all competitions. However, his performances have dipped significantly, managing just two goals in 22 Premier League appearances this term. Despite being a regular starter under Ruben Amorim, the 22-year-old Danish forward has struggled to fit into the system.
Meanwhile, Osimhen’s performances in Turkey have drawn widespread praise, and his future remains uncertain. Though heavily linked with a return to one of Europe’s elite clubs, the forward has hinted he could extend his stay at Galatasaray.
“I don’t know what will happen in the summer, but I really love this club,” Osimhen said. “I love the fans, the president, and everyone associated with Galatasaray. It’s been a fantastic experience for me.”

His impact hasn’t gone unnoticed by Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk, who praised Osimhen’s relentless work rate and influence on the pitch.
“He works hard, scores, and assists,” Buruk said. “His biggest strength is his team-first mentality, beyond just goals and assists. He puts in the effort for the team.”
With Manchester United keen to bolster their attacking options, their proposed swap deal for Osimhen could be one of the biggest transfer moves of the summer.
