According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both players have been deemed surplus to requirements under new head coach Ruben Amorim.
With their contracts expiring at the end of the season, United face their final chance to cash in on the duo before they can leave on free transfers next summer.
“Eriksen and Lindelof are available in the January market, but there’s nothing concrete yet,” Romano told GiveMeSport. “Both are expected to attract interest.”
Eriksen, 32, joined United in 2022 on a free transfer from Brentford. Since then, the Danish midfielder has featured in 87 games, contributing seven goals and 16 assists.
Lindelof, on the other hand, has been with the club since 2017, when he was signed from Benfica for £30.7 million. The Swedish defender, who turns 31 this summer, has played 268 matches for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Amorim has already completed his first signing as United manager. The club has secured a deal for Paraguayan left-back Diego Leon, a 17-year-old talent from Cerro Porteño.
Leon has signed documents to join United in July 2025 for an initial fee of £3 million, with potential add-ons doubling the amount.
