Manchester United are intensifying their pursuit of Sporting CP’s teenage star Geovany Quenda.
The 17-year-old winger, who has enjoyed a breakout season with 18 appearances across all competitions, is admired by Ruben Amorim, who managed him at Sporting before taking the reins at Old Trafford.
Amorim’s departure left a void for the talented youngster, but reports suggest Quenda could follow his former mentor to Manchester in a deal valued at £50m, including performance-based bonuses.
