Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre has urged his old club to target Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi in the upcoming transfer window.

The 24-year-old was courted by Newcastle United over the summer, but Guehi ultimately stayed with Crystal Palace, where the club is currently struggling near the relegation zone. With Palace’s position uncertain, it’s likely that Guehi could be tempted by offers from top clubs like Manchester United.
Silvestre, a four-time Premier League winner, is confident Guehi would thrive at Old Trafford. He added that the defender’s skillset would suit Amorim’s style of play, highlighting his maturity in handling Premier League pressure. With United’s current ambitions of finishing fifth or sixth in the table, Guehi’s addition could provide the stability the club needs in defense.
