Rashford, who recently expressed his readiness for a “new challenge,” has struggled to find a place in Ruben Amorim’s plans.
He has not featured in United’s last five games, including being excluded from the Manchester derby squad entirely and left on the bench in the recent defeat to Newcastle.
Rashford’s Stand on Offers from Saudi Arabia
Reports confirm that three Saudi clubs were willing to double Rashford’s wages, offering him an eye-watering £35m annually.
However, the forward declined these offers, prioritizing a move to a competitive league over financial gains.
Rashford is said to be eyeing a return to the England squad under Thomas Tuchel, which likely influenced his decision. Additionally, he has ruled out joining clubs in Turkey, such as Fenerbahce or Galatasaray.
Potential Suitors for Rashford
While Tottenham Hotspur has been linked with the Manchester United star, recent reports indicate that Spurs are not interested. Manager Ange Postecoglou remains focused on signing younger players, particularly those under 23.
Manchester United appears open to letting Rashford leave, potentially on loan, provided the receiving club pays a transfer fee and covers most of his wages.
Despite being sidelined, Rashford has an impressive record of 138 goals and 63 assists in 426 appearances since coming through United’s academy.
As the January transfer window unfolds, Rashford’s next move will be closely watched, particularly as he aims to reignite his career in a competitive football environment.
