Juventus and Lazio are tied on 13 points in Serie A and will clash in Turin on Saturday night. Juve, under Thiago Motta, remain unbeaten this season despite a recent disappointing draw.

Match Preview
Juventus couldn’t build on their Champions League win against RB Leipzig, settling for a 1-1 draw against Cagliari, where a late penalty equalized after an early goal from Dusan Vlahovic. This result denied Juve a chance to move into second place, but they are just three points behind leaders Napoli and have yet to lose this season.

Motta has focused on developing a younger squad, as shown by academy graduates Nicolo Savona and Samuel Mbangula featuring prominently. However, Juve has struggled at home, failing to win any of their last three matches at the Allianz Stadium, a trend that predates Motta. Historically, they have been dominant against Lazio, winning 15 of their last 20 encounters in Turin.

Lazio, coached by Marco Baroni, is also in good form, having won two of their last three league matches against Juve, including a 1-0 victory in March. They are currently on a four-match winning streak across Serie A and the Europa League, highlighted by a comeback win over Empoli just before the international break. Despite a strong home record, Lazio has struggled on the road, averaging just one point per game away from home this season.

Team News
Juventus will miss long-term absentees Arkadiusz Milik and Bremer, along with summer signings Teun Koopmeiners and Nico Gonzalez. Weston McKennie and Nicolo Fagioli are also dealing with minor injuries after international duty, and Francisco Conceicao is suspended. Dusan Vlahovic will lead the attack, aiming to score in four consecutive matches.

Lazio will be without Manuel Lazzari but may welcome Matteo Guendouzi back from injury. Nuno Tavares has made an impact at left-back with five assists in five matches.

Possible Lineups
Juventus: Di Gregorio; Savona, Kalulu, Gatti, Cabal; Locatelli, Thuram; Cambiaso, Yildiz, Mbangula; Vlahovic
Lazio: Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares; Rovella, Guendouzi; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos

With both teams missing key players, a draw could be a realistic outcome, keeping both clubs within reach of the Serie A leaders.
