The teenager, widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in English football, continues to make waves with his impressive performances at youth level.
Dowman, a creative midfielder, has already made history this season, becoming the youngest-ever scorer in the UEFA Youth League. His development has earned him the chance to train alongside Arsenal’s senior stars, including Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed by pundits like Rio Ferdinand, who recently praised the youngster’s maturity and skill. “He plays like an adult, even coaching older players during games,” Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel, likening Dowman’s style to Martin Odegaard’s.
While Dowman’s inclusion in the matchday squad is unlikely, given the return of key players like Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafirio, his involvement in first-team training underscores the club’s confidence in his potential.
Arsenal captain Odegaard, who recently resumed action after injury, is expected to feature against Nottingham Forest and emphasized the importance of focusing on fitness during the international break.
As Arsenal grapples with high expectations and works to recover from an uneven start to the season, talents like Dowman offer hope for a promising future at the club.
