Goal scorer Anthony Gordon had to be substituted during the game due to cramp, while Alexander Isak, who was already a doubt, played through discomfort but was also affected by cramp.
Sandro Tonali, who put in a solid performance in midfield, was also forced off in the second half due to injury.

Given the injuries, Howe is likely to rotate his squad for the trip to Brentford, a team known for their strong home form.
Howe acknowledged the need for balance between change and consistency in his lineup, which could see Callum Wilson, Harvey Barnes, Joe Willock, or Sean Longstaff come into the starting XI
