This one-day event aims to refine the skills of match commissioners involved in the Nigeria National League (NNL), the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), and the Nationwide League One (NLO).

Chairman of the NFF Match Commissioners’ Appointment Committee, Alhaji Babagana Kalli, confirmed that Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa, representing NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will declare the seminar open.

Resource persons for the event include Sir Emma Ochiagha, a former Vice Chairman of the Imo State Football Association, and Mr. Danlami Alanana, Secretary of the NFF Match Commissioners’ Appointment Committee.

Alanana highlighted that the seminar’s objective is to enhance the commissioners’ understanding of match reporting intricacies and underscore its importance in resolving crises or controversies.

This year’s southern conference seminar follows last year’s inaugural events in Abeokuta and Kano, which targeted commissioners across different regions.
