Former Nigerian international Obafemi Martins has expressed confidence in Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman’s ability to thrive in any top Premier League club.

Martins shared his views after Lookman, currently starring for Atalanta, was honored as the African Player of the Year by CAF on Monday.
Praising Lookman’s consistency at both club and international levels, Martins told Livescore that the forward has what it takes to excel at elite clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
“He’s one of my favorite players. Watching him reminds me of my playing days, but he’s arguably better technically.
He’s a goal scorer, and I’m genuinely happy for him. I believe he has even more to offer,” Martins remarked.
The former Newcastle striker added, “Lookman’s style of play suits the Premier League’s top teams.
I can see him fitting in at Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester United. Chelsea? I’m not so sure about that.”
