The 25-year-old forward made a free transfer move to Frankfurt in May 2023 and quickly became a key player, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in his debut season.
This term, Marmoush has continued his strong form, contributing 13 goals and seven assists in just 15 Bundesliga matches, helping his team secure third place as the winter break approaches.
His performances have caught the eye of several elite European clubs, especially two prominent Premier League sides.
While Liverpool has shown a sustained interest, Arsenal has also recently emerged as a potential suitor, especially with Bukayo Saka’s injury raising concerns about their depth.
However, Marmoush remains uninterested in the speculation surrounding his future. He emphasized that his only focus is on Frankfurt’s progress and development.
“I don’t have any specific dream club,” he told Bild. “There’s always speculation, but my commitment is with Eintracht. I will give everything for the team in every match.
I’m living in the present and enjoying my time here. Frankfurt placed their trust in me, and I want to repay them with good performances.”
The Egyptian international’s contract runs until the summer of 2027, and his value is estimated to be around €50m-€60m (£42m-£51m). While it might be challenging to sign him this month, former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has identified Marmoush as one of his top two potential signings for January.
Wright praised Marmoush’s versatility, noting his ability to assist, take corners, and his impressive pace. He believes the forward would be a perfect fit for Arsenal’s style of play, alongside Ademola Lookman of Atalanta, making Marmoush one to watch in the upcoming transfer window.
