Victor Osimhen has once again praised his partnership with Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, underscoring their effective collaboration since Icardi’s arrival at Galatasaray.

Following their recent 2-1 derby victory over Beşiktaş, where Osimhen scored the second goal, the Nigerian international shared his thoughts on their dynamic on the pitch.
“Icardi and I get along very well on the field,” Osimhen stated on the club’s official website.
“We work together in training, and I value his experience. The things he tells me often come true, and I try to apply them during games. It’s an honor for me to play alongside him.”
He added, “It’s difficult for any defense to block us. When they focus on me, they sometimes fail, and when they focus on him, I can find space.”
Osimhen also took a moment to acknowledge the crucial support of the fans during the match.
“First of all, I want to thank our fans. They were incredible and played a big role in helping us secure the three points. We played well from start to finish and performed effectively,” he expressed.
He continued, “We faced a team with talented players, especially in attack. While I am pleased with my goal contribution, the team’s overall performance is what truly matters. We need to build on this momentum moving forward.”
