Osimhen seals Galatasaray win over Alanyaspor

Victor Osimhen scored the decisive goal as Galatasaray secured a 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor at GAIN Park Stadium on Sunday night. The win keeps them firmly on course for a third consecutive Turkish Super Lig title.

Alanyaspor took the lead in the 23rd minute when Tonny Vihena found the back of the net. Galatasaray, however, responded early in the second half as Fidan Aliti conceded an unfortunate own goal to bring the game level.

Osimhen stepped up in the 62nd minute, powering in a header to complete the comeback for Okan Buruk’s side. His goal proved to be the winner, ensuring Galatasaray extended their lead at the top of the table.

The Nigerian forward was substituted in the 90th minute, making way for Ahmed Kutucu after putting in a strong performance. His contributions have been vital to Galatasaray’s campaign this season.

So far, Osimhen has registered 22 goals and five assists in 29 appearances across all competitions. His consistent form has made him one of the standout players in the Turkish Super Lig.

With this victory, Galatasaray now sits seven points ahead of their closest rivals, Fenerbahce. However, their title race is not over yet, as Fenerbahce still has a game in hand.
