Former Göztepe head coach Yilmaz Vural has showered Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen with praise, labeling him a “magnificent footballer.”
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli this summer, has impressed early in his stint with the Turkish giants.
Speaking on the Telegol program via Haber Sari Kirmiz, Vural highlighted Osimhen’s unique qualities.
“Victor Osimhen is a magnificent footballer. He dribbles past players with ease, exhibits exceptional aerial control, and is a complete center-forward. His technical and physical attributes are outstanding,” he stated.
Despite the glowing remarks, Vural voiced concerns about the €75 million Galatasaray paid to secure Osimhen’s services. He suggested Turkish teams focus on nurturing local talents like Barış Alper Yılmaz and Kerem Atürkoğlu from the lower leagues.
